Jayant Sharma Sr. Director, Product Management, Oracle Spatial and Graph

Dr. Jayant Sharma is Sr. Director, Spatial & Graph Product Management at Oracle's New England Development Center. He has over twenty years' experience in databases and spatial information systems. Brice Richard Digital and Smart City Lead, Arup

Brice is leading Arup's Digital team in Singapore. He is a digital strategist and economist with 14+ years of work experience in technology strategy and public policy. He is currently playing a pivotal role in leading and delivering on Smart City and Digital Consulting opportunities for Arup Singapore. Brice worked as a city competitiveness consultant for the World Bank and the IFC, where he advised 60+ municipalities on policy reforms and digital transformation in India, Nigeria, Pakistan and Southern Sudan.

Nicholas Soon Head of Smart Cities, Digital Hub, Asia, DNV GL

He is the Asia Pacific Smart Cities practitioner in DNV GL and leads a team to engage the clients in the areas in Infrastructure Efficiency, Climate Resilience and Cyber Security. He also leads the business development with the Maritime, Oil and Gas and Energy business areas to conduct Digital Transformation, Information Risk Management and Data Management advisory services.

He was with Microsoft Singapore for 8 years as a trusted technology advisor to the Government agencies, Enterprises and research institutes in Singapore and the region. His key focus areas were building digital opportunities around Smart Cities, E-Government Services, Sustainability and Resiliency areas.

Huang Zhongwen Director, Digital Planning Lab, Urban Redevelopment Authority

Mr Huang Zhongwen heads URA's Digital Planning Lab (DPLab). In this role, he leads an inter-disciplinary team to spearhead URA's efforts in catalysing the digitalisation of urban planning, incubate digital competencies, as well as foster innovations and partnerships. This includes developing digital tools (e.g. ePlanner, a one-stop geospatial planning tool) and harnessing data science methods, to enable a more data-informed and integrated way of planning across agencies. Vocational analytics training for planners as well as cross-agency collaborations and Industry partnerships to strengthen the way URA plans, is also a big part of his work.

Zhongwen is a geographer by training from London School of Economics, with background in science and math, and passion for cities and technology. In his prior career as a naval officer, he worked on acquiring new capabilities as well as transforming operations with technology. Joining URA in 2012, he was previously involved in the long-term plans and policies for transport, utilities and underground space. He pioneered efforts to build up URA's Futures capabilities for planning, and, as well as Ops-Tech capabilities for urban planning including the development of digital scenario planning tools and the use of planning analytics.

Justin Dauwels Associate Professor, School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University (NTU)

Dr. Justin Dauwels is an Associate Professor of the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore. He also serves as Deputy Director of the ST Engineering – NTU corporate lab, which comprises 100+ PhD students, research staff and engineers, developing novel autonomous systems for airport operations and transportation. His research interests are in data analytics with applications to intelligent transportation systems, autonomous systems, and analysis of human behaviour and physiology. He obtained his PhD degree in electrical engineering at the Swiss Polytechnical Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich in December 2005. Moreover, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the RIKEN Brain Science Institute (2006-2007) and a research scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2008-2010). He has been a JSPS postdoctoral fellow (2007), a BAEF fellow (2008), a Henri-Benedictus Fellow of the King Baudouin Foundation (2008), and a JSPS invited fellow (2010, 2011).

Ms. Annie Ong is currently the Head of Business Development and Product Management for OneConnect Financial Technology, an associate company of China’s Ping An Group, a Fortune 50 company. Building upon Ping An’s extensive knowledge and expertise, OneConnect is looking to bring the best of China’s financial technologies to empower financial institutions and banks in Asia. Wan Ting Poh Director, Data Science, Allianz SE

Wan Ting is Allianz's Director Data Science for Asia Pacific. Kyaw Htay Director, Survey Department of Myanmar

Mr. Kyaw Htay was born in Mandalay, Myanmar, in 1971. He received the B.Sc (Hons :) degree in Mathematics in Mandalay Science and Art University, Myanmar, in 1996. In 1997, he joined Survey Department, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation as a Staff Officer. Survey Department is one of the governmental departments responsible for topographic map production of Myanmar. He oversees the formulation, design and management of the policy and programme for geospatial information governance, infrastructure and technology development, capacity building, and the use of geospatial systems in data analytics. Siau Yong is an urban planner by training. He has previously served a number of Singapore government ministries and agencies in strategic and local planning, land policy and land asset management. Siau Yong had been actively involved in tertiary education. He last taught Urban Planning and Urban Policy in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes as Adjunct Associate Professor with the National University of Singapore.

Dr Keow Yeong Ming Former Deputy Group Director of Manpower Strategy and Planning, Building and Construction Authority

Dr Keow Yeong Ming has more than twenty-five (25) years of industry and teaching experience in the fields of construction, facilities management, and information technologies (IT) and systems. He is also a qualified executive coach, data privacy and organizational development (OD) consultant. He has previously served in several public and private organizations such as the Building and Construction Authority (BCA), Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Housing & Development Board (HDB), National Computer Board, Ministry of Finance (Singapore) and Cyber-IB.com Pte Ltd. He has participated in major IT and OD projects such as:

• Implementation of the Government of Singapore's electronic business platform (GeBIZ) for public sector procurement activities;

Dr Chiu Kuang Ping Executive Director, AECOM

Dr. Chiu has over 20 years' experience in water and wastewater treatment technologies, concept design, and project management. She obtained her PhD in Civil Engineering from Purdue University in the US and has project experiences in North America, Middle East and Asia Pacific. She is a certified PMP, a PE of California in the US and a certified LEED AP. She has 3 patents and more than 30 journal and conference papers.

Her experience of advanced water and wastewater treatment includes membrane, water reuse, desalination, UV, and disinfection. She is the project director of AECOM process design team for the Keppel Marina East Desalination Plant.

Marek Suchocki Civil Infrastructure Strategy Lead, EMEA, Autodesk

Marek Suchocki is the Autodesk Civil Infrastructure Strategy Lead for EMEA working with civil engineering customers and their projects. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering, is a Chartered Engineer, Chartered IT Professional, a Fellow of the British Computer Society and the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and a Member of the Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors. His career focus has been the research, development and application of information technology to aid management and design processes for built environment projects. He sits on the ICE Information Systems panel, is Chairman of Construct IT, is a member of the British Standards B555 committee for construction design modelling and data exchange.

Marek has been an active participant in the Task Group driving the UK Government BIM initiative from its initiation, having a management board role in the BIM4Infrastructure UK sub group and representing Autodesk on the BIM Technologies Alliance.

His career includes delivering significant impact on BIM for infrastructure adoption across many projects and organisations, the rollout of collaborative working solutions to private and public sector clients, and undertaking studies on IT and knowledge management. He has a broad experience in the UK and Europe, having previously been part of Mouchel's IT Senior Management Team owning a portfolio of corporate IT projects, Research and Innovation Manager and a Principal Management Consultant at Atkins, site agent at Costain, and also worked within an infrastructure client and Quantity Surveying practice. He also spent four years as a Research Fellow within the Department of Construction Management & Engineering at the University of Reading.
